How can I hide my blog from search engines?

  Can I hide my blog from the internet spiders without deleting it?
  I started another WP site, hosted by BlueHost and I want to move some of the content.
  I’ve read that having identical (or nearly) content on two sites triggers bad stuff with the search spiders, and Google (others?) will see it as plagerism and not list the content.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
