How can I hide private pages and keep them from showing up as navigation tabs?

  I have certain pages on my blog that I have marked as private, but they show up as tabs in my page navigation. How can I hide these tabs from the general public?

  I don’t see any private pages in your navigation tabs – it looks like you discovered the trick of creating a custom menu and not including those pages in the menu.
