How can I implement these personalised Social comments login/sharing please
-
Hi guys,
I really want to implement this type of comments system that has a ratings system and the personalised way of logging into the comments via fb and twitter. I’d also like the personalised social sharing options.
Can you please tell me what logins I can use (I’d like something that by default posts to facebook/twitter)

If you want to have ratings on comments see here http://en.support.wordpress.com/ratings/
If you want a like button on comment see here > Dashboard > Settings > Sharing
scroll down to
Comment Likes are __ On for all comments
then scroll down and “save changes” -
Timethief is (of course) right–but WordPress.com did just implement a small part of what you are asking for–comment likes. Here’s more info including instructions on how to turn them on: http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2014/08/07/introducing-comment-likes/
**waves** good morning, TT!

Hi guys, thanks so much for your reply.
Is there no such plugin though? I just want to have Facebook and twitter logins for comments and have some sort of thumb up or thumb down system for ratings?
Anyone any help – would really appreciate it! :)

There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.com blogs.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/See here for a full comparison WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org
http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/There is no upgrade you can purchase here that provides FTP access and the ability to install plugins. If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.

Oh really, I thought they were the same – I didn’t realise they were different. I don’t suppose you know what forum I could use that would beneficial for me to find out?
Thanks

Hi again,
Without doubt, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/To use those plugins you must hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting and set up a WordPress.ORG install, then export your content out of your WordPress.COM blog and import it into the WordPress.ORG install. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-to-wordpress-org
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

There ARE thumbs up and down ratings, as well as star ratings for WP.com blogs. Click on my name and then click on a post with comments to see it in action.
