I must have misread something but I thought I could import from a Word document. I don’t have any other for- mat of an old document I wrote about hiking off Skyline Drive.

Hi there!
You can upload a Word document to your site and add its download link to a blog post or page. Please view here for more information:
If you aren’t opposed to using Google Docs instead of a Word document, you can actually embed it into the page as seen here:

I haven’t used google documents so I just followed the instructions to upload my Word document into media and then added it to a page. It didn’t seem to work: https://dalees107.wordpress.com/?page_id=1534&preview=true

Hi there!
So I’m looking at the page, and it is working as it should. As seen here, you will see the link to download the document:
Please note, as I mentioned above, if you upload a Word doc you will be able to add a download link, but you won’t be able to actually embed the actual doc into the page.
That’s why it may be a good idea to look into Google Docs. You can embed the entire doc on to your post/page with Google Docs. It’s actually very similar to Microsoft Word.
You can take a look here:

I couldn’t get it to download in my mobile app. And it took too long on my PC. I’ll check out google documents.
Thanks!Sent from my iPhone -
It looks like it could be your data or ISP connection. But let me know how it works out with Google Docs!
Cheers!

I’m a bit slow, let’s try this one: http://wp.me/P1BDD7-oK
I inserted my desktop screen shot on my hiking page! -

I finally had Internet and time to try this. My Google Drive page is not set up like this, no “tabs” across the top plus it’s all in Chinese so I can’t tell which is the “account.”
-
Please contact Google Drive support regarding this. I have no access to your account or Google Drive’s system so it wouldn’t be possible for me to change your settings for you.
I’m so sorry about this. Once it’s changed to English please let me know.

Actually I just figured it out! So I sent to my gmail page and did as you suggested. When I went to Language, it informed me all my products weren’t in English and it gave me the option to make all English! Yay!
Thanks for all your help! -

Perfect! :) I’m so glad it worked out.
Try going through the process of embedding a Google Doc as seen here:
