How can I import content from a different WordPress site?

  I want to import content from a WordPress site that I created through my University’s site to my own WordPress blog, not affiliated with my University. I tried importing, but it has been “loading” for over a week.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Please let me know what the source (export) blog address is, and what the destination (import) address is.

  Is the site you linked here, stephdevaux.wordpress.com, one of these sites? That site has been deleted.

  Hi,

  Yes I accidentally deleted stephdevaux.wordpress.com (is there anyway I can get that back?) but I did the content to import successfully to a new blog I created called stephaniedevaux.wordpress.com.

  I am currently trying to create a new blog again with the domain stephdevaux.wordpress.com since I accidentally deleted it, but it does not seem to be working. Is it possible for me to create a new site with that domain?
