You need an XML export file to be able to import https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/

I believe you have to use a WordPress.ORG install first to create the XML file but I tagged this thread for a Staff response. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

Hi @yoniplt,
The best way to get the XML export file would be to regenerate the export from the self-hosted site. Is that site still up and running? The MySQL import may leave out some of the content and will not bring images across to your WordPress.com site.
If you’re unable to get the XML file, I can email you privately to get the MySQL file, convert it, and then send back the XML file. That should at least get us the majority of content from the MySQL file.
