Do you still have access to the site from greengeeks? If so, you should export the contents of your self-hosted site and import it into your wordpress.com site. Here is a support document that explains the process:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/coming-from-self-hosted/
Specifically, please note the “Migrate your content to your WordPress.com blog” section.

Awesome, thank you. So if i understand this correctly, i don’t need the database files if i import the special xml file? It successfully imported and seems to have everything..

If it was successful, you don’t need to do anything further with that file. Although, you may wish to hold on to the file in case you find out later that something didn’t import correctly.
