How can I include all categories in new post drop-down menus?

  Only the first page’s categories are included in the drop-down menu on new post pages, so I can’t assign any of my categories past the “N’s”. Can somebody help me fix this? Thanks!

  What do you mean by “first page’s categories” ?

  How many categories do you have?

  Thanks for replying! I have about 25 categories for posts. When I go to Dashboard – Posts – Categories, there is a second page I have to click to in order to see posts from M-W. It is those second-page posts that don’t show up when I’m trying to assign a category to a new post.

  I think you are using the improved posting experience. (Beep beep boop screen).

  So type first few letters of the missing categories to pull them up. So if you type t, you will notice that your category names starting with t will show up so you can select them :-)

  Thank you so much! I’m sorry I didn’t think of that myself. It’s not ideal, though, if you don’t remember all your category options, but it worked this time. Thank you. I really appreciate your help.
