How can I include/write a widget requesting people sign up for weekly emails?

Is this possible? And if so can someone please give me directions?

Hi there – Anyone who follows your blog can elect to receive their updates in a weekly email digest. If you want to send out your own weekly newsletter, however, there isn’t a widget for it, but you can offer it using a contact form for signups:
Contact FormThen you could send out the newsletter to those who signed up from your regular email program, or any other newsletter service:

Hi Eurello, thank you so much for you help. Using your information I was able to write a text widget by copying the contact form html. it seems to be ok. Thank you so much for your help! Made starting my morning flow so much better. Happy here!
