HOW CAN I INCORPORATE SOCIAL MEDIA ICONS INTO PAGE RATHER THAN WIDGET
-
I’m trying to put my social media (buttons) links into my ‘contact’ page itself but I only seem to have the option to use the widget in the sidebar etc. Is there a way of using them in the page itself ?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
We actually have a handy guide that was written for adding these manually into a Text Widget, but the same concept applies to adding them within a page or a post:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/add-social-media-buttons-to-your-sidebar-or-footer/
Instead of following the part in the guide above (step 2) where you use a text widget, just use the “Text” tab in the editor on your contact page in order to place the icons.
If you get stuck, please let me know.
