How can I insert a PDF to a page?

    How can I place actual PDFs (not links to PDFs — I already know how to do that) on my pages so that someone can click right on a replica of the PDF itself to open the document? I do a lot of magazine writing and want to show thumbnails of covers or title pages so that visitors and potential clients can click on them to read my portfolio. I want my portfolio page to have some graphic interest, not just be full of links. Thanks.

    Hi Rhea,

    We do not directly support uploading a PDF and then having it display on WordPress.com, however there are several free services which have this functionality that you can use to embed in your site.

    Since there are a few of them, I’m going to link you to the search for PDFs in our help center:

    The most common that our users like are Scribd and SlideShare, but I see others from time to time.
