how can i install a coming soon page without plugins

  I want to put up a coming soon page on my site and have googled it but cant find how to do it without using plug ins which are not allowed here

  We do not have a coming soon page, per se, however you can create a static page which will display instead of blog posts. To create a static page, you can follow the instructions included right here:
