How can I invite some user to my private blog if they don't have any account ?

  I’d like to invite some friends to my personnal “Private blog”, none of them have a wordpress account. Is it possible to send them a request to sign up only for a username and password and then have access to my private blog without going into the whole blog create process ?

  Your friends will need to create WordPress.com accounts in order to view your blog. Please have them sign up at http://wordpress.com/signup and let you know their WordPress.com username. During the signup they will have the option to create a blog (default screen) or signup for a username only by selecting the link to the right of the blog address field.

  Then you can give them access to your blog by adding them to your privacy settings.

  Thank you for your help. I just don’t see the “Sign up for a username only ” ?
