How can I just follow a blog without a logo which makes my details available?

  My membership of WordPress.com starting Sept. 27th 2013 is due to my inexperience as a self taught trial and error silver surfer. I do not want my own blog. I only want to be a follower of one particular blog, receive its posts and comments,How to follow a blog and make some myself. I do not want a special logo, or for anyone to be able to look up my user name and profile. How can I delete this account without losing my status as a follower?

  Go here and add the URL starting with http:// for the blog in question https://wordpress.com/following/edit/

  This profile is public https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/marychughes and there is no way to make any WordPress.com username profile private.
