How can I keep the old edit post page?
-
I don’t like the new post edit page. It lacks the ‘bells and whistles’ of the old one, as well as not being as compact. But everytime I create a new post or edit an old one, that new disaster comes up. I can’t find what I need to work with. I know it’s good to learn new things. But doggone it this new page is just a case of dumbing down the ability to control what I type. How can I keep the old edit post page, and stop the new one from coming up, constantly?

Have you clicked on the Switch to classic mode. link at the bottom right corner of the new editor?

As a matter of fact, EVERY time I go in there. What I’m looking for is a way to not have to repeatedly do that. A configuration that would allow me to ONLY use the older style.
BTW, yours was a good suggestion. I’m not putting it down. In fact, thanks for replying so fast. There is also a link up near the top that takes you to the older style. I even went through several ‘surveys’ saying why I wanted the older style. I just want the dumbing down to stop.
