How can I launch?

  I was under the impression I was making a free site, but every time I hit launch it leads me to domain choices and if I get past those it asks if I want to pay $7 or $20 a month. How do I launch?

  You appear to have three domain registrations in your cart at the moment:

  

  Wanting a custom domain name would require you to upgrade to the Starter or Pro plan, which is why it’s prompting you to upgrade.

  If you want to launch your site using the free askewsme354395956.wordpress.com domain, click the shopping cart icon in the upper right of your page and remove those three domains from your cart.

  Once you do so you’ll be able to launch your site.

  I can’t even figure out how to get to the checkout to uncheck those.

  Hi there,

  From your WordPress.com dashboard, you can click the shopping cart icon at the upper right and then click the remove from cart link.
