How can I limit the amount of blog posts on the main page?

Hello,
I’m brand new to WordPress. But, I would like to only have my most recent 6 blog posts on the front page. How can I limit it ??The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can choose how many blog posts you want to display, by going to My Sites > Settings > Writing > Content Types > Blog posts

Thank you! I did that originally, but it didn’t work. Is it maybe because I’m using the free wordpress plan?

No, this is not the reason, it’s because you also have the Infinite Scroll option activated on your theme. In the same Settings/Writing page when you change the Blog Post Display if you scroll down you will find a Theme Enhancements section, disable that option and you are done :).
