How can I limit the number of blog entries per page?

    I have my settings to show only four blog entries per page but I have five showing now. The archive separates the blog entries by month, but when you first log on to the page you see all five blog entries on one page. How can I have just four blog entries showing at once.?

    Hi there – your theme was set to use the Infinite Scroll setting, which overrides the setting for a particular number of posts per page, and allows visitors to simply keep scrolling to see all your posts.

    I turned that off under Settings > Reading – by unchecking “Scroll Infinitely.”

    Your blog homepage now shows four posts.
