My domain is http://www.rajatbhardwaj.combut when i add domain it shows its taken , earlier i was using wordpress and i had the same domain on bigrock aswell as on wordpress ie http://www.rajatbhardhwaj.com so how to get this back on my new wordpress???

Yes sir inwas using http://www.rajatbhardhwaj.com with same email address of wordpress that i m using now but its showing its already takes but i have purchased it from big rock and further No sir i didnt mapped and only web hoisting from someone was taken which is now reset to default big rock domains

Okay, then i guess you might need the help of WordPress Staff to look into this issue, because they are the one who will be able to perfectly tell you if your domain(http://www.rajatbhardhwaj.com) is still in use with your previous site or not and also if there’s something wrong.
So, i am tagging this question with the modlook tag so that it gets the staff attention. If you wish to reach the staff directly for your future questions, just add the modlook tag in the Tags section with your question.
Meanwhile, you can check your BigRock admin dashboard that your domain is still mapped to your previous WordPress site or not. Check if your domain uses the name server values or DNS records of some previous site your had owned.

Hi there,
When you type ‘rajatbhardhwaj.com’ into the search box on the Domains page, there is a message to say the domain is already taken — but there is a small link underneath that will enable you to map it. If you click that link, you should be able to map the domain.
Let me know how you get on.

I checked the name servers , they are bigrock name servers by default , kindly help me for resolving this problem as soon as possible ,

You domain is already registered through bigrock — Domain Mapping is the only way to ‘connect’ a domain you already own to your WordPress.com site.
Domain Mapping doesn’t include renewal so you will need to continue to renew the domain with bigrock. The cost you are being asked to pay here is only for mapping, not renewal.

That’s correct, the domain is already owned by you and was registered to you on bigrock.
I checked the name servers , they are bigrock name servers by default
Once you have purchased Domain Mapping, the name servers can be updated through your account on bigrock:

That’s correct, you need to click the ‘map it’ link underneath:

Clicking that link will add domain mapping to your cart.

The domain was registered through bigrock on 2017-02-23. If you tried to register the domain with us before that date, it should have shown as available (rather than taken).
