How can I link my pages to my existing posts? (that are all under the home page)
-
I have all of my blog posts appearing on my homepage.
I would like to change it so that all posts are separated by category (recipes, psychology, nutrition). How can I link my existing posts so that they are now under those new categories?
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Amanda!
The easiest way to do that is by setting category pages as described here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/
Can you give that a try?

Hey Jeremy,
This is awesome. Though I am now stumped from step 2 onward because the wordpress layout has changed since that support page was made, and I cannot find the ‘primary menu’ for theme locations, or for categories, the ‘add to menu’ bit.

I’ve figured it out! Thanks so much.
Just, whats the difference between pages and categories?

Wonderful!

A “page” is something that you would create and populate with content. A “category page” on the other hand is pre-populated with posts from that particular category. You don’t have to manually create category pages; they already exist when you create a category. An example category page would be the following for the category “Example”:

Every category on your blog has a specific page like that. When you add a new post to a category, it’s automatically added to those pages without any work from you. Does that help to explain the difference?
