How can I link my text/image widget back to a post?

  I have read many of the faqs and threads on widgets but I still have a question. I know how to add an image to a text widget but what I would like to do is to have people click on that image and then be transferred to a post ie the image acts as a link.
  On my site, I have a pic of a Batman movie poster on my left sidebar. I would love if peep could click on this and then be brought to a post about the next Batman movie for e.g. Is this possible? I’m not sure what coding to use in the text widget.
