How can I log in as administrator?

  I have been the administrator of the site http://www.sigmaxinordic.com, and have been wanting to renew my subscription for another year to be able to use my CSS file. Now I find that I cannot log into the site, but get passed around to irrelevant pages. What is the story? Thanks. Paul C. Kettler

  Hi Paul,

  Can you specify what you mean by passed to irrelevant pages? When you log in, do you see your dashboard and the top with “My Sites” in the top left? If so do you see your site under it? Can you get to your WordPress.com dashboard?

  Also if you’re having difficulty logging in you can try Account Recovery.

  Dear sfarley85,
  Many thanks for this help. I was trying to log into my wordpress.com account, but my trouble may come from using two different user names for different accounts (I also have a wordpress.org account, as below.) Also, I changed my email address recently on my .org account, and am thinking that may have changed things for me on the .com account. I have sent an email to help services, and have also filled out the ‘recover account’ form, though the only information I could give them was for a change password url, which went to my alternate username, not the one I was using for the .com account. I am really confused now. The reason I wanted to log in is that I was to renew my .com account so that I can continue to use my CSS file for styling. Again, thanks.

  Hi Paul,

  This does indeed sound like a rather confusing web it may be best to let a staff member untangle since they can get a bird’s eye view of what’s going on. Since you already sent an email for help, hopefully that will resolve the issue. If it doesn’t, or if the email wasn’t to WordPress.com, you can tag the thread here as “modlook” and a staff member will be able to take a gander. I’ll avoid doing that for now though so there isn’t two separate tickets open for the same issue leading to further confusion.
