how can i login?

I just bought premium. My site should now be proustmatters.com. But, when try to go there (by entering proustmatters.com in the URL box), Dashlane* intervenes and asks if I want to register this password. I say no. And then nothing happens. I don’t have this problem with any other website that I have registered with Dashlane. Help!! I can’t get to my site!!
*Dashlane is the premier password protection program.

I have made some progress. The problem occurs on the Chrome (browser), but not on Safari. Now I don’t know whose issue this is: WP? Dashlane? browser? OS? May be it’s whether on not something is put in the OS “keychain”? I don’t understand these issues (and don’t want to!) … just wish it would go away so that I could logon to my blog regardless of the browser!

Hi there,
You may be running in to this issue because you have set your blog to private. Anyone visiting this blog is going to be prompted for a username and a password. As such, if Dashlane is a password manager software, it may be trying to pop up and prompt you to use it to enter the username and password for this site.
Not being terribly familiar with Dashlane, I can’t really give you advice on how to get around this issue. You may be able to tell it to ignore this site, or provide the credentials to log you in automatically. But in any case, that does seem to be what the troubles are.

Thank you so much for your prompt and thoughtful reply, amightywp. At this point I’m pretty sure, it is a Dashlane browser interface issue because I can login to my (private) site through Safari (but not Chrome). I’ve contacted them. Let’s see if they respond!
