how can I make a blog private

  I watched the video on Visibility using the Status on the right side under Publish.

  It explained using the Password Protected and said I can make a post private without using a password but did not elaborate on how to do this.

  I have a select group of people I want to authorize to read my blog, but I do not want to have to issue a password to them.

  Can I make my entire blog with ALL posts private to my select group without having to password protect posts and issue a password?

  Hi,

  1) You can password protect:
  – posts: https://en.support.wordpress.com/post-visibility/
  – and pages: https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-visibility/.

  2) You can’t password protect a whole site. You can make the site either public or private: https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
