  how can i make a new page and add certain blog posts to it?

  Hi!

  To create a new page, login to your WordPress.com dashboard at https://wordpress.com/ and click on the “Add” button next to “Site pages”

  To add a list of blog posts to it, you can use the archives shortcode. You can learn more about it here https://en.support.wordpress.com/archives-shortcode/ and also has a bunch of customization features.
