How can I make a new 'post'?

  I am lost as to how I can change my first post? I can’t find where to edit it!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  To create a new post
  1. Go to My Site(s) and then click on the Add button just beside the Blog Posts option on the sidebar.
  2. Or just click this link: https://wordpress.com/post/

  To change/edit an exiting post:
  1. Go to the Blog Posts page of your site: https://wordpress.com/posts/
  2. Click on Edit.

  Also, since you seem to be new. Here are some resources that might help you get started on WordPress.com:
