Hi everyone!

How can I make my BG image fit in all screen sizes?

It’s hard to give you advice as the blog linked by your name in the forum has been deleted. Either follow raincoasters advice or create an image the fits the background colour and center it perhaps.

The adress of my blog is this:
http://www.cactuscultural.com/
It’s in portuguese.
Maybe my image doesn’t help me (as you can see), I think I shoul remove the side frames. But I like the image, to me it’s gorgeous! I’ll try to center it.
background-position: 50% 50%;
It’s done like that, right?

It’s not possible, sorry. What you could try is making the background image the background of your body, then do another background image for the border and position it properly.
There’s quite a few articles around on how to use multiple background images.

It’s not possible with CSS right?
too bad!
Maybe I can try what you told me… I think it’s goint to be a little more difficult. But, thanks anyway.

Some notes on background images.
If you have one large image that you want to use, you have to save it as a very low quality jpg, and even then depending on the dimensions of the image, the file size could be quite large – possibly over a MB.
My monitor is 2560 x 1600 resolution. If I have my browser window set at full-screen, and your background image is not larger than that, I’ll see blank areas at the sides and bottom of the image. A 2560 x 1600 test image saved at low quality resulted in a 635k file size,. That will mean slow page loading times, and visitors are likely to click away instead of waiting.
The image you use needs to be properly sized before you put it up as a background. If it is too small, then you need to enlarge it in an image editing program first. The file size of the background image should be small as you can make it, but if it turns out to be larger than 150k, don’t use it. Also, with a single background image, you do not want it to scroll with the content. You want it to be fixed.

Thank y’all for trying to help me!
I decided not to use an image on my BG, that is filled only with color now.
That makes it more clean and sometimes I’ll put an image linked with a theme on my blog, according to my blog subjects: music, tv and movies.I intend to use one with my BG still filled with color.
I’m gonna make the band Scissor Sisters as the artist of the month of my blog (next July). I’m not gonna try it now, but I want to put a picture of the band in the top left of my page, keeping my BG yellow-filled.I think its possible.
If it’s not, tell me.If there are no more appointments to make, well, this topic may be closed.
Thanks!
