How can I make my blog a multilingual and is it possible?

    Hello there everyone, I’m a bit lost. I’m trying to make my site a multilingual one but I have no clue can I do it or how to do it.
    Please assist and advise.

    Automatic translation is not available to WordPress.com blogs. We bloggers do not have FTP access to blogs hosted by WordPress.COM and we bloggers cannot install any plugins, we cannot use Microsoft or Google translation widgets or any others, as they are JavaScript and it’s stripped out to preserve security on this multiuser blogging platform. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

    Note: You can copy and paste the code on my Translations page and then replace every occurrence of my blog’s URL in the code with your own blog’s URL.

    I have followed the steps in the first suggestion and came to the point that I had my site translated into English,

    but my question now is how to introduce it to my site? and
    Is the google be on top of the site?

    As well I stumbled upon a text but I don’t know how to apply it…

    In the “Appearance” ==> “Menus” section of the dashboard, you can create a Menu, and then from the “Categories” subsection, you will add a menu-item for each of your language categories — say, English and Portuguese. Make sure that in the “Manage Locations” tab, you actually select this Menu that you just created.

    Then, in the “Settings” ==> “Reading” section of the dashboard, set your “Front page” to display a static page, but leave the “Posts page” empty (because that would show posts from all categories)! Your readers will be able to choose the “English” or “Portuguese” menu in order to see the posts in the corresponding language.

    You cannot install any plugins and I already made that clear above.

    Are you clear on the fact that you can set only ONE interface language for the blog? You set the interface language for a wordpress.COM hosted blog here
    Dashboard > Settings > General

    I have read everything that is there to be read. I understand that I can’t instal any plug-ins. I understand that I can use only one language as a interface language. I have asked you couple of questions and didn’t get any respons. As well I have notice that You Do Not have patience so I will seak my answers somewhere else. Thank you and good bye

    It’s fine. I will try tomorrow to figure out how to add the widget that you sugested earlier. Only issue that I have is if the google translate will be shown on the page? But anyway, thank you for your time and effort @ timethief. It is appreciated.
