how can i make my blog public?

Hi, I’m new to blogging and therefore have very limited experience in it. How do I have it so I can make my blog appear in public when I google it? is there a cost to it?

You don’t have to worry about these issues with a WordPress.com site.
SEO is great on WordPress.com without your having to do anything special other than post. The longer your blog exists, the more you post, and the more people who visit it, the higher it should climb in Google’s rankings.
