A slider for your featured content appears on the Portfolio page template. https://wordpress.com/themes/sketch/#portfolio-page-template

Hi @jolenecolbert!
Another variable is the number of items the Featured Content tag has been applied to – there needs to be more than one published item, otherwise Sketch won’t have anything to rotate through. Once you add the tag on a second post or project, you should start seeing the slider :)

Hello there. I’ve been using Sight for my blog for 3 years and now the slide show disapeared. The problem appears to be the substitution of “Appear in slideshow” for “Set Aside”, which doesn’t work.
Help!
What is this about setting a tag? Is this valid for sight?
Thanks,

Here the blog, looking very sad without the slide show showing…

Hi @mari0009!
It looks like your slider is working – there’s a single post marked for the slider and it is loading when I check your site :).
Sight’s slider works a bit differently (it’s an older theme, and uses a different method).
For Sight, you don’t need to use a special tag for your slider. Posts you mark as Sticky will appear in the slider.
There sometimes a delay with Sight’s slider updating when you mark a sticky post. You can use WP Admin to mark them as sticky to get around that, but I’d actually recommend switching to a newer, more up to date slider theme if at all possible:

To access WP Admin, visit your site, and add /wp-admin to the end of the address. Then you can edit the posts using the menu on the left.
