How can I make my hi-def videos play as such in my blog?
-
I put the below in the Forums section. I’m confused about the process. I got Email reply asking to provide links to this Support site – which I am providing below.
I upload and insert 720 or 1080 high definition videos to my Blog. When I view them from the Blog the resolution is greatly reduced – they are dreadful in full screen mode. But if I view them from the WordPress Media section they play sharp and clear in the resolution they were taken in. I thought that since I am paying for gigs for videos readers would view them as they were uploaded. Is there something I am missing in the uploading process.
I now often upload videos to YouTube and link them in my posts and they work fine, but I would not want to have to do that all the time just to get a hi-def viewing in WordPress. Here are links from the Posts section in my account.

The videos seem to be working well.
Are you clicking the HD button in the top-right of the video when playing it?

Yikes! This is so embarrassing! I thought the “HD” button was descriptive only and it never occurred to me to click on it.
My inquiry is resolved. Sorry.
