How can I make my links a different color?

Sometimes when I make a link in my blog posts to another article I’ve written elsewhere on the net the words of the link are in a different color. I am using the Pilcrow theme. In this blog post for example

one of my links is both underlined and high lighted in a contrasting color, but the other links are just underlined. How can I make all of them highlighted in a contrasting color- in this case orange?

In this case, what’ you’re seeing is the difference between links that you have no visited in your browser vs. links that you have visited.
If you’d like to adjust link colors site-wide, you’ll need a Custom Design upgrade.
