How can I make next and previous post links skip private posts?

  Why are next and previous post links to private posts?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  My pinned post may not be the only example of this behaviour. Under the title, there are links to the previous and next posts. However, even when I am not logged in, these links are to posts that are privately published. This means that they are broken links, except to me, when I am logged in.
