While technically it seems like we aren’t supposed to be able to use coding in the Title fields, there is a workaround here:
The blog post is a bit old (2009), but I was able to make it work with my WP site. Your theme is also listed on the themes that have been found to be friendly to this method, so give it a try!

You can create a custom menu and include exactly what you want in it while excluding what you don’t want from it.
