The best way to test a new site for if Google has indexed it is to search for the URL, not the site’s name. Here you can see that Google has indeed indexed your site:
So the real question is, how do you make Google understand that when someone searches for Survival Pandemic, that they should see your site instead of all these folks’ sites?
And that whole question is what’s called Search Engine Optimization (SEO.)
WordPress.com handles the technical side of SEO optimization for you. Beyond the normal optimizations like your sitemap, we also have a Global Tagging (Topics) system that search engines love and we ping out to all the major engines every time you update your blog.
The most important thing you can do to better your sites rankings is to post often about the content most important to the site’s mission. Write well, tell as many of your friends online (and offline) about the site as possible, and ask them to spread the content around if they like it.
The more people are coming to your site, Google will notice and increase your rankings accordingly.
