How can I make the comments box show up?

I don’t see the box for comments/replies after my blog posts. It showed up a couple of times while I was preparing my posts, but then disappeared. I can’t find out how to get it back. I looked in the topics, but when I click on screen options, I don’t see the choices the articles says I should see. How can I make the comments box show up after my posts?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It automatically shows up unless you have disabled it. It will ONLY show, though, on the individual blog post page; it will not show on the main blog post page where all your posts go. You cannot change that.

I don’t understand; I thought everyone saw the main (running) page. Do visitors to my site see only the individual pages? Are they automatically taken to the newest post?

It depends whether they got to your blog via a link to a specific post or just the general link to the blog. People who follow direct links to posts only see the main page if they click to it.

I have just been trying to see my comments boxes too.
sgrobins81 – I clicked on the link to your blog and scrolled down all the blog posts, there was no comments box.
But when I clicked on the title of an individual post then there was a comments box at the bottom.
So mystery solved :) I’m new to this and would love to know that it gets easier and more intuitive with time! -
Thanks for your reply, fromsomewherewithlovex! I was overwhelmed at first, but I actually did my last post without too much angst. It is getting easier!
