how can I make the images auto come up when sharing from other sites?

When I import from / Share a ‘set’ from Flickr the photos are there when you go into the post but do not come up when you are in my blog roll.
The photos from other posts when I imported from one of my blogspots didn’t show up either unless you went into them, though they did for another.
– It makes my blog look really dull and empty – certainly uninviting.
Please help. x

Images hosted elsewhere can’t be used as Featured Images, and I believe only Featured Images show up on the front page of that theme. So you can change themes or you can upload whichever pic you want Featured to WordPress.com and select that as Featured on the post.
