How can I make the mobile version of my site display the sidebar menu over to the right side instead

How can I make the mobile version of my site display the sidebar menu over to the right side (but not in the way of the posts) instead of at the bottom of the site?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If the sidebar was moved to the right side of the page on the mobile layout, you would either need to A) squish the content area making it difficult to read or B) have a scrolling effect that forced readers to scroll to read both the content and sidebar. Can you explain a bit more about what you’re looking to do by moving the widget area to the right of the content on mobile devices?

I would like to do option A where my categories would be displayed to the right of posts just like the non-mobile version of my site and the space for posts be squished as needed.
-
Not a problem! That would require the use of CSS, which is included in the Premium bundle shown here:
You will need to purchase that bundle to make the customizations you’re looking for. Let me know if you purchase the bundle, and I’ll be happy to help you find the right CSS code!

How can I make my Categories accessible on the mobile version of my site without users having to scroll all the way to the bottom past all of my posts? Can I maybe add Categories as a page under my drop-down menu at the top of the mobile version?
-
Yep! You can add categories to your menu as described here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/
Please note, the categories would always appear in your menu, not just on mobile devices.
-
But I don’t want all of my Categories listed on my non-mobile site’s menu. Is there no way to access my Categories sidebar on the mobile version without scrolling all the way down or paying for premium WordPres?
-
There is not another way with your current theme. The only options would be to include the categories in the menu (which would appear on desktop and mobile screens) or use CSS to reposition the element on mobile devices (not recommended as it gets messy and would require the Premium bundle).
An alternative would be to switch themes. Would you be open to that?
-
Yes if the theme looks good, which themes should I try that would allow a mobile categories sidebar?
-
To be clear, none of our themes offer a menu that only appears specifically on mobile devices. The menus in the theme would appear on both desktop and mobile versions. However, you might like the way some themes display the menu better than others.
Can you take a look through the list here?

When you find a theme you think might work, open the preview of the theme and then you can resize your browser to get a preview of what the mobile version would look like. Here’s a demo using the Beacon theme:
