How can I make the oldest posts visible first?

Is there a way to load the page so it shows the oldest posts first and chronologically after that?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi Alex,

You can do that using this support guide:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/show-your-posts-in-chronological-order/

Let me know if you have any questions with this!

Thanks for that, I still don’t understand. I tried to figure out the “add a string to your URLs” and am totally lost.

The very first post is from May 2014 and most recent in September 2014. I just want to flip them. Can you explain how/where I do that?
    Like specifically?

    Thank you!

Here is the link for all your posts chronologically:

    http://solongusa.com/?order=asc

You currently set your latest posts to be your Front page. However, in blogs, we only post in reverse chronological order, so that will only show from in latest > oldest posts.

If you want it to view it chronologically we will have to add that link to your Custom Menu in lieu of your Posts page.

In order to do this, you will need to create a static Front page. Go to Page > Add new and create a static page. This will be the page that your readers first see when they view your site. Then, go to Settings > Reading in your Dashboard and set Front page displays to A static page, and set your Front page to Home. You can leave the Posts page blank.

Then go to Appearance > Menus in your Dashboard and add a Link to your menu. For the link, put: http://solongusa.com/?order=asc and for the link title you can put whatever you want. Create and then save the menu. Then, go to Manage Locations at the top to set it as your primary menu.

    Then you should be set.

    Cheers!

Thank you so much but I think I just screwed something up.
Everything made sense except the first part where I make a static front page. I’m in Page > Add New and it looks like adding a new post (but I realize it’s a page). Do I just save it with no title and no text? How do I “create a static page?”

Sorry I’m such an idiot here.

    Hi Alex,

You can add whatever you want to this page. This will be the page that your readers will see. So you can title it Home and add a bio/image/whatever you want. Or you can add a link to your posts by linking to http://solongusa.com/?order=asc.

So is there no way to have the front page just load all the pictures in reverse order? I have to have a single static front page that you then click to see in reverse order?

Yes unfortunately I can’t find a way to have a link be your front page.
