How can I make the reply option (comments) completely disappear?

Hi there, I would like to get my own domain name (Body-Factor.com). I checked that it is already available and I can manage how to moderate a comment. However, I want to get an independent website without any comment masks on the website. So how can I possibly make the comment option disappear from the website after I got my own domain name independently from wordpress.com that nobody can leave a reply?

You can turn off comments on your WordPress.com site at any time, with or without the custom domain.
To start, you can turn of comments on individual posts and pages via the Discussion module outlined here:
