How can I make the title of a photo appear on photo posts?

  How can I make the title of a photo appear directly on my blog’s home page? Currently only the date shows up unless you click on the photo to bring you to the permalink for the page. I want the title to be displayed like it would be on a written post.

  By publishing the posts as Standard format posts instead of Image format posts.
