How can I manually restore comments please?

Hello everyone,
I had some of my posts vanish in March and Woordpress restored a few but then customer support got busy with the new interface and I guess I got pushed on the back burner. Anyway I have been searching the Google cache and have been a able to restore and or rewirte most of the posts on my own since I can’t seem to get an official completed restoration. My work is still a work in progress.
Anyway I have resigned myself to the fact that my blog state are forever screwed up but I really would like to restore the comments. Unfortunately they don’t show up in the cache but is there perhaps some way that I could restore/recreate them based on the email notifications that I have kept telling me about said comments.

the only way for you to restore comments is to put them up yourself – that is, with the information you have in your e-mail notifications, copy and paste the commenter’s details and comments in the post. it will have your ip address but that cannot be helped.
(so that’s what you mean about restoring; i had no idea that there were people whose posts vanished due to the upgrade.)
