How can I map an existing domain using A records?

  The package I currently own (at hosteurope.de) for my domain name doesn’t allow me to change the name server. The support team suggested to find out if WordPress would let me make the transfer happen using the A records. Meaning I’d have to get an IP address. Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks!

  WordPress.COM does not use static IP addresses.

  You will need to change your nameservers to map here, as we cannot support mapping via A records since we cannot provide static IPs.

  I have manually added a zone record for your domain.
