How can I merge stats data?

    When I had my site redesigned, the developer used a DB migration tool to sync his local machine’s DB to my server. unfortunately, my Jetpack stats is now tracking the localhost URL instead of my actual site URL. Is there a way to merge this data over, between localhost/lga2014 and lowgravityascents.com? There’s plenty of history in the stats and I don’t want to lose them.

  • Hi there!

    I have fixed the issue, and you should be able to get your Stats and Subscribers back by going to the Jetpack menu in your dashboard, and disconnecting / reconnecting to WordPress.com. You can disconnect from WordPress.com thanks to the link at the bottom of the page.

    In the future, you’ll want to avoid copying jetpack_options (in the wp_options table) when copying databases from one site to the other.
    Another option would be to use Jetpack’s Development mode:
