  original subjet: how can i monitor twitter but not auto post to twitter, when I post to my WP site?

  My Twitter widget is functioning properly for the way I wanted it set up. I blog to WP and it reposts to Twitter, while showing the latest Tweets within Twitter widget on my WP site brewbloggers.net. This was great until we got someone dedicated to our Twitter feed and will re-Tweet the posts manually, and so will include the appropriate tagging and mentioning etc. How do I set up my Twitter widget to only show the latest Tweets and not re-Tweet my posts at the time of my posting to my WP site?

  Hi!

  There are two elements at play here. First, we have the Twitter widget that exists at the bottom of your site displaying recent tweets. Second, we have Publicize setup on your account, which automatically tweets out new posts when they’re published on your site. I believe you want to remove the latter so that your tweets aren’t automatically published to Twitter when you post. Is that correct?

  If so, you’ll want to do the following:

  2. Click the small “X” next to Twitter as shown in this screenshot:
