How can I move posts from front page, to categorized menu sections?
-
Wish we could reply with quotes here, but…
When you say: “– Select a menu that will display the menus you have created already as follows:”
All I see there is: Primary ( Currently set to header )

If you have created a category with that name you should be able to achieve what you are looking for following these steps:
– Please click “My Sites” on the upper left hand side.
– Then, please click “Customise” in your left.
– Then click “Menus” on your left.
– Select a menu that will display the menus you have created already as follows:Home
What Is Universal Individual Rights Project?
Commentary – News & Current Events
IIPN – Intelligence Processing Network – Potential Solutions
Click “Add Items”. In the new pop-out window, find “Categories”. Clicking that – should give you a list of the Categories you use on your site.
This part is important: By default, “Pages” are selected. Therefore, make sure that you click “Categories”.
– Click the plus symbol next to the category you want to add to your menu.
– Click each category you want to add.

I’d like to post a screen shot here, so you can see what I’m looking at, but don’t see how.

From that viideo, I figured out how to get the “What is” page to be a sub menu of the “What Is” top menu button, but I wanted it to be a post under that top menu, not a sub menu item. How can I do that?
-
Oh I think I know. I’ll have to do it as a post under that top menu item, not as a page?
-
Ok, good news! ( Learning is exciting to me! ) :-)
I managed to get the “What Is” as a post, in the “What Is” top menu now. Yay!
BUT new posts are also going under the Home menu button too, which I don’t want. I only wanted the first two posts to remain under there and subsequent posts to appear under only the categories that I assign them to.

Hello,
I see that you now have “What is” as a post. I am so glad you are enjoying this learning process. :) I relate to your excitement with learning :)
Now to not have all your posts on the home page. Here is what you can try:
Launch the Site Customizer and click on the Homepage Settings tab on the left.
Select the A static page option, then choose a page you wish to set for your home page from the Homepage drop down.Hope this helps. Please let me know how it goes.

Thank you, mywritingmuscle. :-)
It appears that Home isn’t appearing in the options there.
And I do want to keep the first two posts on the home page – just not the ones after that.
-
Ok, it seems that I solved that problem, by adding a Home page to that menu. It was already a top nave bar link, but now it exists as Home page.
Unfortunately, when I did so, I not only lost the original welcome post that came with the site, but my “please read the book” post too. ( I can always re-add that though. )
But the good news is that the posts that were appearing under commentary, are no longer appearing on the Home page that’s linked to the Home menu top nav bar.

I am so glad I could help.
The art of learning WordPress is the trial and error method. Its uncanny how much we can learn by playing around the features offered by WordPress. Try not stopping at what you have achieved and experiment more with the site, you will be surprised at how much more you can learn and implement here.
All the best @kirasaoirseuirp. I hope to read you blog and follow the progress :)

I just solved the Home link problem, by making it a category and eliminating the original linked learned style. And look! I just figured out adding images! This is so great! Thank you for all your help!

Hmm, the main page doesn’t take someone into the Home link as its default.
