How can I move the "search" widget to the top and create a sidebar??

    Please help. I added the Search widget and Archives widget, and both are appearing at the very bottom of my blog…no one will scroll down that far…recently updated WP and it appears this has changed. How can I get the Archives, tags and Search field to appear at the top right in a sidebar, so readers can actually see and use them? Rather than appearing at the very bottom of the site. TIA!

    Hi there. Your theme only allows widgets in the footer. There is no way to change that, as that’s the way your theme is programmed. If you want a sidebar then you need to pick a theme that has one.
