How can I move widgets again?

I can’t move widgets, but I was able to do this previously. I tried to move about.me to a different location (and change settings for it – again and again!), but it didn’t work. I deleted my history and cleared my cache to try to solve the problem. I had moved about.me to the footer at this point and when I refreshed the page, the bio was gone entirely. Now I’m trying to get it back by placing about.me where it had been (side right) but it’s still not appearing on the pages (cleared cache again, but no luck). Can anyone help? All along I’ve been using Google Chrome and I haven’t changed my browser settings.

The Academica theme allows different widgets on different pages in the blog. Have you consulted your theme description here?
http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/academica/Academica has nine widget areas available which one is problematic for you please?

Hi! Thanks for the reply – only just seeing it. I was able to move the widgets when in firefox and using accessibility mode (although initially when I tried it didn’t work – maybe just a temporary glitch?). Thanks again.
