How can I obtain an apparently obsolete domain for my own?
-
I recently set up a WordPress account/blog for the first time. It’s called “hamandcheese”, but that domain (hamandcheese.wordpress.com) was unavailable when I set it all up. I settled on “bloghamandcheese.Wordpress.com”.
However, when I typed in “hamandcheese.Wordpress.com”, the result is a very unusedH blog space that was initially set up and vacated in 2007. The only post on there is the initial test post that Wiodpress initiates in order to give an example of how it all works.
Is there any way to obtain that domain for myself? Specifically, the .wordpress (free) domain, NOT .com, .me, .net, etc.
Thank you for any help!

WordPress.COM will not give out contact info for a blog – you can try leaving a comment on the blog – else see above for your own domain name
