How can i open a page inside a pop-up after i click on an image?

I’d need, for a customer, to create a home page with a grid of images. When the user clicks on one of those images, a pop-up appear loading the page related to that image. For example, if i click on the image ‘House’, it opens a page i created about houses inside a pop-up. No navigation, just the scrolling bar if it’s too ‘long’. How can i do that please?

thanks for answering me. Sadly i don’t really need something for woocommerce, i’m not going to install it even. I just needed a plugin that does something like the site “weheartit.com”, when you go with the mouse over the image it gets “darker” and things appear. Then when you click, the page related to that image opens in a pop-up.I’d like to know how i can open those links in a pop-up, maybe with iframe, but i preferred something else.
Anyone can help me please? -

If you need a grid of images that “pop up” in a modal when clicked on, have you considered using a gallery? We have some examples here:

Hello supernovia, thanks for the answer. I know about the grid of images and so on, but what i need it’s:
– i click on an image
– a modal window opens but there’s not the image inside, there’s the whole pageFor example i create a page called “Dogs”, then in my homepage i create a gallery with all the images of the animals. If i click on the dog image, a pop-up appears with inside the page i created before. It doesn’t go to the page, it opens it right in the homepage. The whole WP page in the pop-up.
But about your second link, is there a theme like that shows a slideshow (or something like that) instead of static images with caption under them? Something like:
– I create a “Region category”
– I create pages with that category in them
– In my homepage i see many slides where, inside, appear randomly all the page under the “Region” category.In your link i see Chocolate Eclairs, Chocolate Cake etc, is it possible to show them in a single container? First the eclairs, then it fades and the cake appears and so on?
It’s really hard to explain ;(

We don’t have a theme that does this on WordPress.com, but if you’d like to maintain your own copy of WordPress at another host, you may be able to find such a theme, or have one made, or create one yourself if you have the technical know-how.
Or, if you’d like us to support the site here, my best recommendation is to go ahead and use a theme that supports a Grid Page. Each image in the grid would load up the associated content in a separate page rather than in a modal.
